Fresnel Lens

...at Gilleleje lighthouse (Nth. Zealand, Denmark; see extra). Erected in 1896 it towers more than 50 mtrs. above the sea (Kattegat) as a watch at the entrance of Oeresund strait. Automatically operated since 2008, there's a splendid museum in the tower now.
