No Wings Today

I decided to take flower shots today, without any bees, birds, or butterflies.  It gave me a chance to focus (literally) on the colors and shapes of the flowers themselves.  It was rather liberating not having to worry about shutter speed, super fast focusing, etc.  Of course, if I had gotten a clear shot of that hummingbird I saw on these Calla Lilies, I wouldn't have turned down the opportunity.
