The restoration continues.

Today we were very excited to go and view the progress on our piano restoration. Pictured here, with the piano, are Janice and Chris the two people who have been working on it for the last few weeks. It now has been completely restrung and sounds superb. There is still some more work to do, felts to be replaced etc but it was good to see the progress so far. The workshop was an incredible place, we saw so many pianos in various stages of restoration or being built from scratch. They were very friendly and showed us round, we also saw Harpsichords , Spinnets and Clavichords and were able to have a go on many of them. We now look forward to our Piano coming home in a few weeks time.
