Grimsel Pass

We set off this morning for an amble down through Switzerland. We stopped at Lake Sarnersee (see extra) for a swim and lunch before heading down to Zermatt where we are staying for a couple of days.

We took a scenic route through the Grimsel Pass which took us up to the clouds and a massive temperature drop. Spectacular views along the way (the blip). Zermatt is car free zone so we had the fun of stopping in Tasch, the village before and take the train for the final part of the journey. We were met by an electric taxi to take us to our apartment.

It's a great view of the Matterhorn from our apartment, a beautiful spot. Might be up early tomorrow.
