Was It Really So Long Ago

Has Been

After coffee, I took in the wildlife area at the far end of the field on my morning walk, before heading to the heath. I saw a barn owl swooping low over the fields (such a pleasure and a rarity) but other than that, not much more. In the field beyond I caught sight of the balancing barn, a silver tile clad building, 50% of which hangs unsuspended over the shallow valley - see extra photo. It's next available from 18th August to rent for the week at £1750 and that's 30% off! Needless to say, we're keen to avoid such bargains, but it is an impressive structure nonetheless.

The rest of the morning involved much packing and negotiating of equipment, clothes and children into the back of the car before heading to the bunny barn to collect the guinea pigs and then home.

It has been a fab few days away in Suffolk.
