Old Quarry

The Centre for Alternative Technology is based around an old quarry.  Quarrying stopped in the mid-1950s, and it wasn't until the mid-1970s that 'the hippies arrived' (their description, not mine).  The quarry has been pretty much off-limited for most of the last 50 years, it's interesting to see what 'passive rewilding' has done over those 50 years.
