Here we go....

First full on Festival day....as well as showing C&T the city. Started with a Sondheim musical by the Conservatoire mashing up fairy tales. Good except too long....
A wander down the Royal Mile soaking up the atmosphere and watching the sample shows.
After lunch at Henderson's where we perused the free fringe programme we ran across town to see Big Howard Little Howard....shouldn't have bothered! (But you always have to see a few rubbish shows!)
Checked out BBC tent then home for me to change and dash to the opera. 'Greek' a modern day Oedipus set in Tufnell Park, adapted from the Steven Berkoff (far right on picture) play by Mark-Anthony Turnage. Gracious! Quite extraordinary contemporary piece....loved it!
Great reception/supper afterwards then home-C&T out at the jazz bar. They're immersing themselves!
