is a morning dove

having just flown straight out of a tree - right at me - or so it felt

fortunately i didn't flinch - but with camera pointed, was able to press the button to - capture this amazing inflight shot - of the dove against a light blue sky - as it sped away from my prying eyes - i'm not certain who was more startled - me or the bird - all i know is that i feel as if i was fortunate to have gotten - this dove flying - when typically i am snapping my fingers - saying 'darn, wish i'd gotten that one' - now that i'm on the other side - i can safely say it's made for...
