Romeo & Juliet

Tonight saw the penultimate performance of Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet performed on Boston Common.  Every summer, the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company presents one of the Bard's plays on the Common for everyone to enjoy free of charge.  This year it is the romantic tragedy of the star-crossed lovers of the feuding Capulet and Montague families.  The lighting was very harsh (or perhaps the photographer was unskilled!), but I hope the general atmosphere shines through nonetheless!  Thunderstorms were direly predicted this evening, but mercifully they failed to appear.
