#Flower . . .

Lone fragrant flower
Beside cold winter window
Noni's paper white

My late mother in law was called Noni short for Nonette and she always called these jonquil flowers paper whites.  She married a nurseryman and always had a collection of plants in pots by the backdoor that were either to be planted or had missed the best planting time or were rescued from somewhere and might be planted or given away.
Everyone was very kind about my attempt to catch a drip.  There are a few natural drips about today with the rain.  I haven't ventured out to capture them.  Stayed by the gas fire and did a bit of work on a blurb book.
