Pet Sounds

Brian Wilson and Al Jardine in action tonight at the Glastonbury Extravaganza, held in the grounds of Glastonbury Abbey. With a large and brilliant band, they put on a great show, featuring the whole of the Beach Boys' "Pet Sounds" album and a good many of their other hit records, which had the crowd up and dancing.

Earlier, The Black Dyke Mills Brass Band and Corinne Bailey Rae had entertained everyone in the early evening sun.

It's a great annual event with everyone taking picnics and plenty of drink. We were there with our friends Tony & Rosie and various members of their family.

A great evening which helped ease the pain of Yeovil's embarrassing 8-2 defeat away at Luton in the first game of the season. Not exactly a morale- boosting way to start the season but at least things can only get better - surely?
