Another fine Orkney day with high wispy white clouds, shimmering bog cotton, and meadow pipits and Twites flittering about.

Our guests flew south to Forres after a breakfast debrief.

My years of RADA training came in handy last night as I won 3rd prize* in the ‘Whisky Galore’ fancy dress.

Spent today catching up with grass cutting and weeding; I also picked all of the broad beans.

Tonight will see the first dancing for three weeks !  No chance to rehearse my Pas de Basque - I was in the Green Room with Andrew Marr but they deemed my fancy dress prize not cutting edge enough.  The fools - what do these producers know ?
