Valentino starting off from the grid

A grey day with showers, all feels a little better and cooler thank goodness. The transport links worked perfectly with no hassle getting to the circuit. There's a system here of continually operating buses from the city centre to the circuit, about a 25 minute drive, all free for the three days of Moto GP. As soon as one bus is full and takes off - occasionally Rossi style - an empty one arrives, very impressive. It must make a great difference to traffic control and parking. We easily counted 12 buses heading to the circuit as a group with 5 behind us and as many in front. Perhaps the fine we paid a few days ago contributed to the cost.

The extras:
In white is a young lad from Oban we follow, he rides a smaller engined bike in moto 3. In orange is Bradley Smith, we have followed him for years and the group in the rain are the Red Bull Rookies who finish off the entertainment, we sat and watched in awe as it poured down. Number 52 was on the grid in front of us, he is a small lad who exuded confidence, He won.

Much cooler this evening and hoping for a better nights sleep.
