Foodie!

Up early with the SBG.

A morning of card making, then I headed into town to meet D&K, off the train from Glasgow for a day at the Foodie Festival.

A wee stop at the Stockbridge Tap, then on to Inverleith Park. The sun was out, but the ground was very muddy from yesterday's rain.

Iain joined us soon after, and our first drink was drunk.

Over the next few hours we enjoyed many of the free samples (mainly booze), ate some tasty food (all agreeing that an oyster we had was by far and away the best), drank some more drinks, watched a couple of cookery demonstrations (choux swans made by the guy who is Keep Calm and Fanny On - a blog about Fanny Cradock and a demonstration by Masterchef finalist, Tony Rodd). K and I had a wee chat with Tony, who was very sweet.

After this, we walked back into Stockbridge, visited The Tap again. A bus into town, some drinks while waiting for a table, and the a meal at Wahaca.

A great day with some of my very favourite people.
