Old Iron

Ironing with a heavy Mrs Potts Sad Iron must have been hard work. Three or four irons could be heated  on the stove at the same time and the detachable wooden handle ( probably walnut) prevented the user from being burnt.  This one is at least 100 years old and is now used as a door stop.
