A busy few days (it's Bank Holiday here) and the Blip mojo went awol and I'm only just catching up with myself. The start of the village festival and it kicks off with a riotous quiz night in a marquee hosted by our local celeb, Graham Norton. 74 tables, including the parish priest, the vicar and the O Donovan brothers who won the silver medal for rowing in the last Olympics ( remember pull like a dog!)  The noise was deafening, the locals riotous, the jokes risqué and the questions tricky! A great night was had.
