Mother of all extensions

The scaffolding has started to come down around Nigel's extension,

It really is a ridiculously huge extension. My parents brought up 7 children in that house and Nigel has doubled its size!

It has been going on for months and his immediate neighbour has written him a letter complaining. Another has suggested Nigel is in competition with another brother, Phil, who already lives in a massive house. We all know that Phil wins every and any competition and that is how he got where he is - very wealthy and retired at 54.

I went to the garden centre and bought loads of sad looking plants that were only £1 each. They will look good again soon.
