Dick Hudsons

A trip to Saltaire this afternoon - including a visit to Salts Mill.  On the way home we decided to call in at Dick Hudsons for a drink.
Dick Hudsons (note no apostrophe - 'cos they don't use one) is of the oldest, best known pubs in Yorkshire. A rather grand, ivy clad inn originally built on the old packhorse route between Bingley and Ilkley. It is named after an owner of the pub - Dick Hudson - who, between 1850-1878, made the pub renowned for it's food and hospitality.
