... of Autumn.

Scilla scilloides has joined Acis autumnalis and the first flower on Cyclamen hederifolium, maybe I'll get round to showing the others soon.  All appear as the summer nights get shorter and the night temperatures begin to fall.  Scilla scilloides, easily raised from seed, is native from China to E. Asia.

A busy morning.  Jamie's hair cut (scary - not usually my job,) ears now pierced, Library, Asda, Tesco, Co-op, Chemist and home.  Later, allotment to replant colchicum (not for eating!) and dig spuds, home to cut the grass.  That'll do for the day apart from a bit of packing.
