Ramme farm - Edvard Munchs favourite place

The Norwegian painter Edvard Munch bought the property Ramme farm in 1910 and kept it until his death in 1944. For the moment today's owner is building  Munch gallery and restoring the house so that people can rent it for a night or two.  The property is beside the Oslo fiord and Munch called this coastal landscape the most beautiful in Norway. He painted many of his paintings here and I'm looking forward to the opening in 2018.
Beside Munchs home  there are a cafe (the blip), open farm that sells ecological vegetables and also garden plants.
A very charming place not far from where I live.
