The Highland Line.

The Highland Line is a geographical feature which runs from about Helensburgh on the west over to about Aberdeen in the east. The Line is remarkably straight along the Campsie Fells, then a wee gap for Stirling and on to the Ochil Hills which run up eastwards. The above is taken from Stirling Castle looking east along the "Hillfoots" towards the distant Lomond Hills.
After a day of heavy showers, this evening cleared nicely and we took the opportunity to enjoy a walk in Stirling and those views.
