The Gallery in the Wood

‘The rooftop forest,’
opined Julian Spindley
(Art Critic for the Woodland Gazette)
as he downed his third drink
of the early evening
at the opening
of ‘The Gallery in the Wood’
‘adds a certain
je ne sais quoi
to the open air establishment,
but the ‘art’ itself
is little more
than glorified graffiti.’
He made a mental note
to use that in his column.
‘Don’t mind if I do,’
he said, helping himself
to a passing canapé
and another glass of red.
