Orange Challenge

Day 22 of KeithKnight's Food & Drink Challenge, and we have reached Fruit.

Probably an extreme stretch of the theme, but this is Orange, and "Butter" in the name - though I wouldn't think of eating it! It was also a challenge, as it was flitting around in old tree root barely stopping to rest, and, as usual, no time to swap lenses. In the event this was was the one and only shot I managed before it totally disappeared.

Searching for "Orange Butterfly Images" on Google, I find that this is a Comma Butterfly, primarily found in woodlands - which is fits as I was visiting Winkworth Aboretum (near Godalming in Surry, and managed by the National Trust). It's still too early for the autumn colour this site is renown for, but as the last good day before the weather breaks down south, a visit was too good an opportunity to miss.
