Simon's Seat

Our first trip out in the new motorhome. We stayed in Bolton Abbey so as to be near home in case it went 'pear-shaped!' Saturday dawned with clear blue skies and we set off on our walk. We went up Simon's Seat from Howgill and returned via the Valley of Desolation. The light was fantastic! We got bitten to death on top though so didn't hang about too long unfortunately. I got some great shots and was able to try out my new Canon Powershot (although this was taken with my old camera.)
