Old blue eyes

This Bay scallop came up in the oyster dredge today. If you look closely you can see what they call their eyes and They are beautiful color blue. In the 1950s our town saw an enormous bay scallop set. Everyone came out in droves to harvest them.some paid for there homes with the money from these wonderful shellfish!.
