Findochty and beyond

Had a great morning at Elgin watching the Ellon S1/2s win their first rugby match this season. Proud dad!

Headed home by coast road to enjoy some ice cream and a wander around some of the small harbours.

Plenty good opportunities of different views. I've always thought the sea on the Moray coast is much bluer than on the east and with the light cumulus clouds today you couldn't go wrong.

The blip is a panorama of the village of Findochty and it was lucky to have a yacht sailing past. You could easily see across the firth to Caithness, though I'm not sure you can make it out in my blip.
