A day for culture

This is part of a window in Ambleside Parish Church.
This was built between 1850 and 1854 in the Early Gothic style. The architect was the very well known Sir George Gilbert Scott.

Today with four friends we enjoyed a concert in the church given by the Chilingarian String Quartet. This was part of the Lake District International Music Festival.

Very enjoyable.
