Sibsey Windmill

The nice weather has disappeared and it rained heavily all night so we didn't sleep too well in Matilda resulting in a rather late start to the day. The rain stopped mid morning so after supermarket shopping to replenish stocks and on the way back to base we stopped to visit the Sibsey Trader Windmill which we discovered was a working flour Mill. We climbed the four storeys by steep narrow wooden staircases and paused on each floor to admire the super views and read all about the history of the Mill. Once back on the ground floor we purchased muesli for Mr T and a g/f variety of muesli for me. Then we partook of a cuppa in the Tearoom and got talking to a very nice local couple hence late back to Matilda where the Ducks were waiting for us.

We're off to Derbyshire tomorrow for a few days before heading home. I'd like to think the ducks will miss us!
