Tony Bennett

Tony Bennett closed Saturday night's show a little after midnight after playing for almost 2 hours, 3 encores, and an amazing performance of great classics including "I Left My Heart in San Francisco."

Shot with the Olympus OMD using a Lumix 200-300 zoom (this shot stretched to the 300 point - equivalent of 600mm, hand-held). This camera's sensor sensitivity range is quite incredible and lends itself quite nicely to venues like this - small footprint, long range, high ISO sensitivity. This image was shot originally in color. I processed the B&W version with Topaz Black & White, gave it a 8x10 crop and posted. The color one came out really nice, but Tony is an 84 year old classic and I think the B&W gives us this classic look.

Enjoy!

PS - Our hotel room has several large print photographs hanging on the walls that are duplicates of THIS. Fun when you see like work hanging professionally somewhere.
