Fountain

This morning I went walking to a restaurant where I met a couple of friends for breakfast, on the way I passed thru some of the fountains that adorn the city.

 Fountains in Guadalajara, Mexico
The city was famous for the rose bushes and the fountains all over, but thru the years the city has grown tremendously and many changes had taken place including the elimination or closure of many fountains.
To trace ... hardly if some description in stories of cronistas or travelers and those that still are standing survive of pure miracle day there are few ... not to mention very few public or private sources of the many and many that have embellished and refreshed our city since the days of the viceroyalty ... And we have hardly find any that date from the mid-nineteenth century Or of the Porfiriato ... but of the most of them or any .. !!  (some information taken from “El Informador”, a well known newspaper in Guadalajara)

The extra was taken this morning at breakfast with friends.
