Senegal Parrot, taken in Senegal

After watching many of these beautiful small parrots in trees in Senegal and also in The Gambia, I finally managed to get a few satisfying flight shots of this colourful species.
This orange-bellied sub-species (Poicephalus senegalus mesotypus) is showing off his beautiful plumage.
Unfortunately they are a common cage bird and prices for the orange-bellied birds cost over $500. I'd much rather they were seen in the wild.
