Takasaki Free Wi-Fi

At Takasaki Station, Gunma.

I got thrilled to find this Wi-Fi sign when I was about to give up finding one; I never expected a Wi-Fi sign would be outside the station, which is why it took me a while to spot it.

Depicted on the sign is a Daruma Doll, a traditional Japanese wishing doll. The city of Takasaki is the leading producer of Daruma dolls in Japan, which I learned from this sign later that day.
