Nice up North

The northern end of the country does rather seem to be getting the better of the weather at the moment - certainly based on the evidence of blips and tweets from further south.

We spent another beautiful morning walking out onto Scat Ness - I've photographed this inlet, the "Hog of Breigeo", lots of times. I suspect this won't be the last time.

There were lots of birders out on the Ness this morning too - searching for a Buff-breasted Sandpiper, one of many rareties around on Shetland at the moment.
