Red-tailed Flesh Fly

I believe I have properly identified this fly, found in my side yard.  I don't think I care to know where his last meal came from.  I was home dog-sitting, waiting for a painter to come and make a repair.  I made good use of the time by looking for critters in the yard.  The rest of the family went to the beach.  Honestly, I would rather take photos than sit on the beach anyway.  Now when they get home I'll have my blip done and be ready to join in on the next activity.
