Another first today

This evening several members of the Barnstaple Camera Club and a couple from Braunton CC  went off to a speedway meeting.  We had a tour of the pits and a buffet dinner provided before heading to the track.  None of us had been to speedway before so weren't sure what to expect but it was huge fun! The dust and dirt that was thrown off the track was a hindrance and as the last bike flew by we had to turn our back to avoid the cameras being hit by flying objects and dust!  
The weather was kind and the rain held off thankfully.  
The home team won by a single point - yes!
