CREEPER

We went to Mount Grace Priory, a beautiful and peaceful Carthusian monastery about half an hour's drive away at the bottom of the Cleveland Hills. We thought we'd better make the most of the day before the horrible weather that's apparently going to arrive tonight. I liked the view out of this window through the Virginia Creeper that's gradually taking over.

The Priory doesn't have a teashop (oh no!!) but it's only a couple of miles from Osmotherley which is generously supplied with pubs and teashops. Tea and lovely cakes to round off the afternoon. Phew!!
