Reaching for the Sky

The sun shines equally on the natural and the man-made!

Four fire engines raced down my road this afternoon with sirens blaring. All happened too fast for me to get photos. Thankfully the bush fire (which was about three kilometres further down the road) was brought under control quickly. It seems to herald the start of the bush fire season for us - we often have fire engines out our way as we live on a ridge with bush on either side. It always makes us extra alert in case it turns out to be something big.
