Funicular up and down the mountain
Meant the journey was just a hop
A wander around Lake Como
A frustrating supermarket shop.

Jumpers, hoodies, socks today
As cooler than had before
But still some went swimming
Though they didn't return for more.

More pasta I served for supper
Sampling the various kinds
An evening with a view and candles
A fabulous day I find.
