The market meeting

We had the grand-children over so I was up and about earlier than usual on a Sunday morning.
Thus it was that I caught the 7.30 meeting which allocates vacant pitches for stalls at the Sunday Market.
Most pitches are used by regular vendors, but there is great competition for any slots left empty as a result of no-shows. The local police have the job of allocating these, apparently folks can turn up for weeks before they get to the top of the waiting list and are able to set up shop.
Must be a profitable business!
