Making friends

Met this golden retriever (?) outside the supermarket this evening. She was a bit jumpy after being left near the noisy trolley parking and the sliding doors opening and closing. I went over and tested the waters, saw a waggy tail and knew I could get closer. As soon as I started a wee scratchy behind the ear she moved in right up against my legs. Think she just needed some reassurance everything was ok! Bless her.
