Cosmos

I'm hopeless at joining in the challenges. But today I remembered about Flower Friday, hosted by BikerBear, and I thought I'd have a go. FF11 is about leaves as much as flowers so even better. I was given some cosmos seeds at Christmas and have grown some very sturdy, leafy plants in the garden. Not a flower to be seen though, till to my delight I noticed this bud today. Let's hope there's a few flowers before the first frosts! So here's my entry for today - cosmos leaves with a potential flower.

Today we have a delightful meeting of house guests as my sister A arrives and our friend M is still here. So no more time for blipping today.
