Planning the chimney

Second day on site at Shildon Little Engine House. Here one of the volunteers is planning their trench in detailed 1:20 scale. The trench contains a large number of slabs set on end, seemingly the collapse of the engine house chimney. This was reputedly pulled down by a tractor in the 1950s.
