Just chilling!

I met my mum and niece off a very busy train from Dundee as we had a day planned "doing the fringe". We wandered up the Pleasance to Hill Street as we had tickets for a show there. It turned out to be one of nicest venues I've been in, the lecture theatre of The Royal College of Surgeons. The show was Best of the West End by a group of very talented, young Americans and was very well received by the audience.

By this time the sun had come out so we headed to George Square for some lunch and a laze on a giant beanbag! We then met my daughter at Greyfriars Bobby and walked to the High Street. There followed a couple of hours of the usual fringe madness before we collapsed on a bench in Princes Street Gardens with an ice cream listening to a brass band.

All in all a very successful day.
