Tagged - Red Kite

Took the dogs out today, very dull grey and windy so wasn't expecting to see much. But I got lucky. This Red Kite was hunting around and I noticed when it was perched up for a few minutes that it was tagged. Even got the number!

My father-in-law was at home who is an experienced bird watcher and said the left hand tag identifies where it was released and the right hand tag which date. This bird was released in the Chilterns in 2001 according to the table provided by Redkite.net
