Rest day

Wednesday at the Scottish orienteering festival is always a rest day after 3 days of running, staggering, tripping around the Scottish landscape. I was carrying an injury from the previous day (just a strained ankle) so was not up to doing anything particularly strenuous which was fine with the rest of the family. We headed off to the River Dee as grand-daughter had elected to go swimming along with her friend, Amy, who was spending the week with us at the campsite. We parked our bums on the rocks beside the Cambus O May footbridge which was badly damaged during Storm Frank in January 2016 which means it is currently out of bounds. This did not seem to put off these daring lads who used the bridge remains to plunge into the waters below.

After that we took the dogs for a walk to Burn O Vat which we drove past on the way back to the campsite. See extra
