Cosmopolitan Carnival

Part of Leicester's festival season. And the weather wasn't too bad either. We turned up a tad early before it had properly started. Quite a few stalls including a very nice Mexican one full of really colourful hand-made jewellery and dreamcatchers of every colour. Mr I bought me a pretty dreamcatcher necklace and a tie-on bracelet made out of seeds (I think) threaded on to thin string. Most of the young kids were walking round holding balloons on strings. A lovely atmosphere. There was a big open air stage set up in Jubilee Square ready for local bands to play until 10 tonight.
