Summer of Hope Coffee Morning

We were so lucky that the rain held off until the coffee morning was over. There was a huge downpour shortly after all but our small band of assistants left the house. It was an enjoyable morning and £220 was raised for the Mother's Union Summer of Hope appeal. Fortunately with people coming and going there was enough seating for everybody.

The men did a sterling job in the kitchen washing up and keeping us supplied with enough clean cups and saucers for all the visitors.
