Lonely Copse

For more years than I care to remember I've passed by this copse of trees as I travel on the A706 between home in Bathgate and Wee Maw and Paw's in Lesmahagow.

It sits on the brow of a hill on the left, half way between Lanark and (The)Forth and it always looks so lonely, cold and windswept whether it be summer or winter (if there's any difference in Scotland).

So today, as I headed home from a visit to my parents, it was decided ....... blip!

Better go, it's Sunday Foriegn Language Cinema Night
and I've left Mrs B alone in a room of Italian policemen for way too long..........I better go rescue them!
