A Glimpse

Back-blip 6 of 7.....

Overnight Millie pups developed an infection in her right ear and eye so we spent a good hour, mostly in traffic, getting to a vet in Truro where she was prescribed some drops which, of course she loves having administered (not).

Since Danielle was travelling back home on the train late afternoon from Penzance in time for work tomorrow (new job), we stopped off on the way and took the woodland walk around Trelissick Gardens, along the River Fal and past the King Harry Ferry. It was really nice and Millie enjoyed it too, with no discomfort from the infection thanks goodness.

So with Danielle back on the train me and Mrs K treated ourselves to fish & chips from Newlyn for tea. While the weather was closing in I headed towards Botallack, hoping to capture a dramatic shot of the time mines that are perched on the cliff edge there. Well, the fog was just too bad for any attempt and accompanied by heavy drizzle too. However, I knew of a mine on the road back to St.Ives but who should be there? Mr White Van Man! I'd made my mind up so got the tripod and camera out of the car, dried the lens as best I could and grabbed the shot anyway, see extra. The things we do for our hobby :)
