Day 12 - Private!

Today has been a busy day of shenanigans in Edinburgh.

The Bunker
Escape Rooms Scotland, Great Junction Street, Edinburgh

I can't really review an escape room without giving away information about it. However, this was a war themed room, but which war was unclear. Actually, it didn't matter.
We managed to escape with few minutes to spare.

Coffee Break
Spilt Milk - upstairs from the escape room.

Used to do a post-room de-brief. Mean cakes and wicked Flat White was to be had.

Outbreak
Escape Rooms Scotland, Great Junction Street, Edinburgh

Zombie based room trying to escape from a Doctor's office where the outbreak was thought to have started. Actually quite a scary room to do, given the theme.

Lunch
Quay Commons, Commercial Quay, Leith

A bit pretentious if I'm honest. £6 for a bacon sandwich, which came with Salad. If you were to do that elsewhere the salady parts would be back in someone's face. But, someone ate it.
The bacon roll was on Sourdough bread, which felt like someone dipped it in butter, then stuck it on flat grill to toast for a while. Nice, but not worthy of the fee. Flat white was good though, if a little bit wee.

Robert White: InstruMENTAL
Gilded Balloon Teviot - Wee Room

Think of a minority in society. This guy probably is in there.
Gay, Autistic, Bulemic, add a few more in there and your probably not even done. This was an "light" one man opera with props about his trials and tribulations about being gay, being arrested (for what, we know not) and the pains of going through the courts system and spat out the other end. Oh, and coming out to his parents.
It wasn't on our radar to see, but MrsCyclops saw him a few years previous so we went on her recommendation.

Christian Reilly: LOLternative Rock
Liquid Room - Warehouse

Geeetar slinging comedian who has been in such things as AIOTM (aiotm)

We went to see Christian Reilly cause he's in town doing a show and he's really rather good. Songs about Trump were the highlight and Mrs May (and the DUP). A thoroughly entertaining ~hour of songs. Recommended as it's part of the free fringe, but there was a bucket at the end of the show.

Genital Count: 2/2 - tenuous links to appendages today and rude names for lady parts.
